On the day:
Arrive by 9:30 to pray with service leader and others.
When instructed by the service leader, introduce yourself and announce the Bible reading and page number in pew bibles, giving people time to find the passage in their own Bibles.
Use only NIV2011, and read from a pew bible if possible.
Conclude your reading by leading the congregation in the call and response: This is the word of the Lord // Thanks be to God.
In the week before:
Prepare to read the assigned passage in NIV2011 bible version by reading several times and reflecting on it beforehand.
