Arrive 30 minutes before the service start time.
Locate the newsletters ready to hand out to people arriving.
Greet people with a smile, hand out newsletters and welcome them to Church.
If they are new or you’re not sure, take the time to ask them about themselves and get to know them. Don’t let them walk into Church alone– make sure you introduce them to someone (their ‘host’) or go with them yourself if there is no-one to introduce them to (the regulars can welcome themselves if need be).
Stay at the door to greet people until after the first song, then leave the remaining newsletters in the foyer area on the bench.
